Travelling from Texas, Meagan and Zachary chose Ireland for their destination wedding, hosting a beautifully curated three day celebration at the iconic Sheen Falls Lodge in Kenmare. From the moment guests arrived, every detail had been thoughtfully considered to ensure a truly immersive Irish wedding experience. Welcome bags awaited guests on arrival, filled with carefully chosen elements of Ireland, setting the tone for a weekend that was personal, intentional, and deeply connected to place.

The celebrations began with a relaxed welcome party at Sheen Falls Lodge, where traditional Irish musicians were curated to set the tone for the weekend ahead. The following evening, guests gathered for an intimate rehearsal dinner, where the atmosphere was elevated with the ceremonial presence of a solo harpist before the night concluded with a spectacular fireworks display lighting up Kenmare Bay.

Throughout the weekend, Meagan and Zachary wanted their guests to experience Ireland beyond the wedding day itself. Carefully planned moments and experiences were woven into the celebrations, including whiskey tastings, traditional Irish music, golf, and time to explore Kenmare and its surrounding landscapes. This thoughtful approach ensured their destination wedding in Ireland felt rich, immersive, and memorable for every guest travelling from the United States.

The wedding ceremony took place at Dawros Church, a hidden gem tucked away down a quiet country road. Small, intimate, and deeply special, the church felt like a discovery, making it the perfect setting for Meagan and Zachary’s vows. Music played a key role in the ceremony, with a carefully selected ensemble. Outside, a monumental floral arch designed by The Studio Florist framed the church entrance. Bold in scale and breathtaking in impact, it transformed the arrival to the church and became one of the most striking design elements of the entire wedding weekend.

That morning at Sheen Falls Lodge unfolded with a sense of calm and anticipation. Meagan spent the morning getting ready with her glam squad, while Zachary and his groomsmen enjoyed a pint of Guinness together in the cellar, embracing a relaxed and distinctly Irish start to the day.

For the wedding reception, the William Petty Suite at Sheen Falls Lodge was completely reimagined. Rich emerald green tones were layered with gold accents and soft ivory details, creating an elegant and atmospheric space that felt both refined and dramatic. The design was carefully considered from the very first night of the welcome party through to the wedding reception, ensuring a cohesive and elevated visual story across the entire three day celebration. The wedding was beautifully captured by Studio Lordan, whose imagery reflects both the scale of the event and its intimate moments.
