For Katherine & Tim, coming to Ireland to get married was so much more than a destination wedding. It was a homecoming. Katherine's family hail from Midleton in Cork and Tim's from Wicklow, so when it came to choosing where to say "I do", there really was only one answer!
Joined by their family and friends from across the US, they celebrated in the most stunning setting at Sheen Falls Lodge in Kenmare. As their wedding coordinator and designer, I had the absolute joy of helping bring their vision to life, with huge help from Katherine's amazing Mom, who was a dream to work with every step of the way.
Katherine was breathtaking. She had a gorgeous morning with her beautiful bridesmaids and her wonderful Mom, getting hair and make up done while sipping on champagne and enjoying a cheeky pint of Guinness, before she put her wedding dress on, thankfully!!
Katherine & Tim exchanged vows in the Boat House overlooking Kenmare Bay, in a beautiful, intimate ceremony led by Katherine's brother. Then it was time to celebrate! A bagpiper led everyone down to the falls for the most amazing drinks reception, with margaritas, pints of Guinness and plenty of champagne.
The night continued in the lodge with dinner and dancing, and one very special surprise when Tim took to the stage and performed with the band. It was the one secret the bride managed to keep from her Mom!
And we can't forget the star of the show, their adorable dog O'Brien, who even made it onto the menus, a gorgeous personal touch designed by Katherine herself. Every detail was so thoughtfully considered, and it was an absolute joy to be part of their celebration.
